A Muscle Gaining Secret as We Age

As we age, if we don’t maintain our activity levels, we lose muscle mass.   Working out is very important as we grow older. Not only do we lose flexibility and bone density, but muscle mass as well.  It is much easier to maintain rather muscle gaining secrets than build muscle after the age of 40.  An estimate found on the internet states that we can lose 5-10 pounds of muscle for every 10 years of our adult life. As we age, we tend to gain fat as well, because our metabolism slows and we have more aches and pains, which leads to less exercise. 

Exercise doesn’t have to include a stint at the gym.  If you are elderly:  work in your garden, carry your own groceries to the car, and take a walk with some friends.  Exercise doesn’t have to be hard. The reality is…we age.  It is necessary to find a healthy exercise regime, and to keep to it as you age…That is the real muscle gaining secret.
